Paintaholic

How can I describe myself? I try to stand apart from the crowd. I'm a quirky Southern "belle" who loves the French Quarter and the culture of New Orleans, luckily it's only a few hours away. Crawfish boiled just right can keep a smile on my face. I read lots of books. I draw and paint a lot, whether it's good or not it's a release. I recently have been getting into Art Journaling and I'm in love with Jesus. Even in that area of my life do I stand apart from the crowd. I'm not perfect and I never will be and I find that rather beautiful. Flaws make a person interesting. It makes them real, and unique. Even despite my flaws and my daily sins, I'm loved. I'm understood. I'm saved. I love anything inspirational. Pictures, quotes, Bible Verses. You don't have to be Christian to appreciate the inspirational and moral value of the Bible. Just like you don't have to be Buddhist to appreciate the teachings of Buddha or enjoy Yoga. I soak up culture and try to teach myself new things. Sushi is amazing and I love classical musics, as well as anything that sounds beautiful or cool. Please, enjoy my blog. Be inspired. Step outside your comfort zone and try something new. Never limit yourself, for you never know what you are capable of otherwise.
