Om nom nom. I could easily become a foodie!!!
I cooked a DELICIOUS lunch (test driving a new recipe) that I will hopefully be repeating for dinner tonight. I don’t really have a name for it other than delicious. Chicken and Roma tomatoes with organic oregano and basil, green onion and spinach (with other seasonings and cooked in olive oil) on top of spaghetti noodles and topped with herb and garlic feta cheese @_@ oh…my…goodness.

Everything I used was fresh, too! And it had the most wonderful aftertaste when I was finished.

For once I'd love for you to take an interest in the things I like to do. Or at least try to pretend you're interested.

Ranting mood…I doubt anyone will read this anyhow…moving on.

It’s not that I dislike our roommates…They can be great…It’s just that I’m pretty sure they think when something goes wrong or something happens or the last of a little something is eaten it’s automatically MY fault because everybody is so quick to say “not me” or “I didn’t do it”.

It’s tiring, aggravating, and childish. I’d expect more out of a 26 year old. Like today, for example. I didn’t know they were cleaning the apartment til after I woke up. Everything is spotless. I would’ve helped if they had knocked on the door and said “hey ash we’re cleaning wanna come help?”…but no they didn’t…He’ll just weasel in the fact that I slept “all day” when talking to Matt later and say that THEY cleaned the apartment and hint at the fat I did nothing. Yeah it happens that way. They don’t tell me things.

I went in there for food to find a whole pack of lunchmeat is gone as well as the loaf of bread, much to my aggravation. I was looking for a spoon to eat my yogurt with…because there’s a severe lack of lunch food in this apartment…I asked Roommate 1 if there was a spoon in the sink…he said no, that Roommate 2 stacked the dishwasher. This was false. I stacked the dish washer last night and I stated so. He goes “yeah, we know” in a disapproving voice and holds up a baking pan with food caked on it…a baking pan that was not in the dishwasher that I stacked. He acts like it’s my fault and it aggravates me. Because Roommate 2 is flawless in her cleaning skills, and the fact she throws dishes into the dishwasher without pre-rinsing is lost on him.

Petty crap, I know. But it aggravates me because I do feel at home here, but then again I don’t. Even though I finally have a job and I’m helping out whenever I can, it feels like I have to worry about what I do and don’t do. I have to ask permission to have a friend over or my family over even and it gets really friggin old.

God I hope neither of them ever get a Tumblr. I will explode if there is ever a time where I can’t rant about them. I’ve already had to cut Tumblr’s ties with my FB and Twitter accounts because Roommate 1 is a facebook stalker AND has me followed on Tumblr. Yay. Not really.

I got my first paycheck Friday…at 6pm…AFTER the banks are closed.
Banks are closed today AND tomorrow. The only place that WILL cash it that’s open is WINN-DIXIE…which happens to be too far away to walk to.

Oh and the bus doesn’t run on weekends.
Guess who doesn’t get her check cashed til Monday. *grumbles*

It hasn’t even been a week and I’ve already burnt myself on the chip basket while frying chips and then today I burnt myself on the Quesadilla press. Scraped my knuckles against the teeth of the saran wrap thingy.

It’s only a matter of time before I slip and bust my behind on that slippery floor.

I love my job though :)

Yeah I need better friends. I invited someone over and I'm pretty sure they blew me off.

It may sound like nothing special, but I’m so happy to be working at Qdoba!
If you’ve never heard of it, think Subway, but with tacos and other mexican goodies!

It’s not glamorous. It’s not anything people would consider “special,” but I am so THRILLED!

I was interviewed on Wednesday and got the call this morning! I work Saturday and Sunday from 2-8 :)
So very very happy I could dance.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow and hope I can fall into the swing of things easily and quickly. Thank GOD! And thank everyone that may have prayed for me, no matter how fervent or how frequent, thank you :)
